Our Services

Comprehensive Family Mediation

We offer mediation for extended family disputes, including conflicts involving grandparents, step-parents, and other significant caregivers. We facilitate conversations that help strengthen family relationships and resolve underlying tensions through structured mediation.

Asset division Mediation

Beyond Mediation also specializes in Family Dispute Resolution for property settlements. We assist separating couples in negotiating fair and amicable agreements regarding the division of assets, financial settlements, and liabilities. Our goal is to help parties reach agreements that minimize conflict and avoid prolonged legal disputes.

Parenting Mediation

We provide Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) services to assist parents in navigating parenting arrangements after separation. Our trained mediators help parents reach child-centered agreements that support ongoing co-parenting relationships and promote the emotional and psychological well-being of children.

Islamic Guided Mediation

At Beyond Mediation, we offer Islamic Guided Mediation for families who wish to approach their dispute resolution process through the lens of their faith. These sessions incorporate the presence of a trusted Religious Advisor, who provides guidance grounded in Islamic principles while remaining respectful of the mediation process.

This approach ensures that both the practical and spiritual aspects of family matters are considered, supporting participants to reach outcomes that are not only legally sound but also aligned with their values. The mediator remains neutral and facilitates the conversation, while the Religious Advisor may assist in clarifying Islamic perspectives on issues such as parenting responsibilities, property division, and co-parenting after separation.

Post Mediation family counselling

Our Post-Mediation Counselling session is designed to support parents in the early stages of implementing their agreement and explaining the changes to their children in a healthy, age-appropriate way.

This one-off session is held after mediation and focuses on helping parents:

  • Communicate the outcomes of mediation to their children in a safe and supportive manner
  • Navigate the transition into new parenting or living arrangements
  • Identify practical steps to implement the agreement smoothly and reduce confusion or conflict

This session is facilitated by a qualified counsellor or child specialist and can be attended by one or both parents. It is especially beneficial for families who want to prioritise their child’s emotional wellbeing and create a calm, consistent post-separation environment.
